My name is Mary and I enjoy spending my time and hard earned money in local coffee shops. I am a junior at CSU and have discovered many gems when it comes to coffee in my three years as a Fort Collins resident. I enjoy coffee shops and the atmosphere that they provide. My blog is intended to share that with others as well as provide information about coffee in general. I also enjoy reading, writing and live music, which are all things I can enjoy on an old comfy couch in a local cafe. The season of refreshing outdoor music is quickly creeping away so I spend my winter cursing the snow, studying VIGOROUSLY and discovering local music. I’m a public relations major and I’ve had the opportunity to work with several non-profit organizations as well as political campaigns.
Have you ever tried bubble tea? It is tapioca pearls at the bottom of a drink, typicly tea but sometimes juices and smoothies, and is the most delicious thing ever invented… It comes in a plasitc cup that is sealed. You are given a wide straw which stabs through the seal and you sip up the deliciousness! It is actually spelled boba tea and I believe it comes from a pan-asain country, but which one I forget.
You should try it.
The Lyric Cinema Cafe serves it although I have not tried it there yet, as well as Sujero (where I hear the bubble tea sucks) and my favorite place in town, Tiger Lily (try the lychee flavor!).
In Denver, Lollicup on Broadway serves milk-bubble tea in tons of flavors.
I haven’t tried bubble tea though but I enjoy the lyric cinema so I’ll have to try it on my next visit! Thanks for the recommendation and keep them coming!
Mary, Great introduction and good response to the comment! Please put your name in the introduction so readers know who you are. Thanks!
